Enough about your ears. Tell me about your ass.

I know this is a shitpost, but seriously, get a good chair and make sure your setup is ergonomic, including the height of the display(s). I have serious issues with my upper body that were in part due to years of bad ergonomics. Bought a steelcase gesture and I’m very happy with it.

How do you deal with the toll this takes on your body?

I had a Herman Miller Aeron for awhile and had a hunch it was making things worse. Leg pain, back pain. Finally said screw it and tried a Steelcase Gesture and oh my god it was like night and day. Maybe try to switch it up. You have the cash and there is no better investment than in things between y

Are all good reviews actually real? Doubtful

I have original Omni and Steelcase Gesture right now in my house. My wife loves her Omni (she is skinny 5'9ish). I would have liked it too, but I am way too tall (6'5). Some concerns you mentioned are legit (the armrests) but she got used to them. Lack of 1.5 recline is a legit concern as well. Our

Is 600 a good budget for an office chair?

Don't get a gaming chair, get a good office chair. Gaming chairs are pretty much universally cheap junk and more flash than substance. The gold standard for office chairs are the Steelcase Gesture and Herman Miller Aeron, but they are quite expensive. There are people who fix them up and sell them u

Need a new chair.

Those who recommended Secretlab obviously did not own other chairs. Try Haworth Fern / Zody in their KL showroom if you’re nearby. Can get RM2k-ish during sales from their official Lazada store. Good and decent task chairs. I saw you’re contemplating on Libernovo Omni. I’m having this as well. Very

Best desk chair?

It’s expensive AF, but I love my Steelcase Gesture. Got it “cheap” since it was a returned chair.

Show Me Your WFH Office Chair!

Steelcase Leap. The Gesture, which is very similar (but not as nice-looking) is also great. Here is The Wirecutter's review. These are much better than the Aeron, in my opinion. The Aeron, while icon, is all plastic and is nowhere near as snug or warm as the Steelcase models. Also, Steelcase is abou

My first impressions of the SE, everything feels cheap.

Always find these complaints about price pretty odd. Did they cheap out on some of the materials? Yes, especially with the foam. Is £500/$600 a lot of money? Of course. But what else can you get in this price range? Herman miller and Steelcase cost more than 2/3 times more. Other than the build qual

Office chair recommendations in Wellington

I'm guessing if you're looking at HMs you've got a decent budget? I'd second the other comment to go to Kada and have him try out the leap in person, maybe look at the gesture (both Steelcase brand). I've read they're not for everyone but they are highly rated. I gave up and decided my current chair
