Snapdragon X2 Plus is much faster - Microsoft Surface Laptop 13.8 2026 Review
I equate intel to a gas guzzling car and snapdragon to a more efficient electric ev. I know it doesn’t translate 100% metaphorically seeing that they are both chips, but I refuse to support intel as the they dragged their butts into coming up with anything efficient for mobile processors. I have a s

PSA : Stop buying e-waste (Ideapad 1 and 3, Dell Inspiron, HP no name/Pavilion) + a list of what to avoid
- Microsoft : same as Samsung but it overheats and doesn’t last long ??? My Surface Pro 11 has been amazing and it doesn't overheat at all. It's quite expensive, but that's because the tablet-PC form factor is very niche, and the price tag goes with it. It isn't "overpriced" though when you see the pr

Microsoft Surface Pro 12 leak reveals ultra-premium pricing and 5G connectivity
The reported price is outrageous, but comparing with the MacBook Neo isn’t really a good comparison. Hoping this is the top top price variant that most don’t actually end up buying. In my case, for my use case, the 32gb Surface pro 11 snapdragon x elite gives me all the power I need for the form fac

Microsoft Surface Pro 12 leak reveals ultra-premium pricing and 5G connectivity
That's the 12 inch Surface Pro, which is a stripped down 13-inch Surface Pro 11 and uses a Snapdragon X processor with fewer cores. I'm not sure if Microsoft could have made it more confusing.

Would you buy an 8 GB Surface Laptop in 2026?
I have 8GB Surface Pro 7. It’s currently a backup to my 16GB Surface Pro 11. Not even close, SP7 runs like dog poop compared to SP11.

My favorite advantage of the Asus Zenbook A16 and A14 compared to Macbooks - the very low weight
100%. Whenever I'm on the go and have to work, the A16 feels like a feather. Sometimes my heart drops and have to double check my backpack thinking I left it. It's a combination of the screen, weight and overall design that sold me on it. I used to have a Surface Pro 11 before this and thought I'd m

Attempting the first documented eGPU on Snapdragon X2 Elite (Zenbook A16 + RTX 5070 Ti via the RTX Spark ARM64 driver)
I can't answer any of your questions, but I'm here for moral support. I have a Surface Pro 11, so I'm rooting for you!

Is this game just poorly optimized?
I have a 9070XT and I get about 70-80fps at 4K, and pretty consistent 144fps at 1440p (120fps for 99th percentile). All max settings without FSR. It even runs on my Surface Pro 11 (chugging along at 30 with low settings looking terrible 😅 - but we use it when my brother comes round). Didn't seem unu

Microsoft Surface Pro Snapdragon Marketing Materials Leak - Launches June 16
Where does it say no upgrade to the OLED display? The panel Microsoft used in the SP11 was truly awful. Even just swapping that to a better screen would make a difference. Bezels have nothing to do with it.

Spark RTX - is the CPU part of it all that good?
It is a very good choice! I have an Asus Zenbook A16 and it is a great upgrade from my old Surface Pro 11th ed.
