I used to run 2 GoPro 11 minis but the batteries wouldn't last for my 75 minute commute. I recently picked up a DJI Action 5 and it's great. The battery life is plenty for my commute even running 4k 100fps. And at that resolution I can make out just about any license plate that passes by.

I got a gopro Hero11 mini recently, when they dipped down to $130 on bestbuy. You might be able to find a used one for cheaper, a lot of people have grumbles about it but the tradeoffs IMO are worth it for such a light camera with horizon lock.

Yeah I have a hero11 black mini and have tried side of helmet, top of helmet, under the visor, and the chin mount. Chin mount provides a good video perspective but it’s tiring for long periods of time plus it catches too much head turning whereas the chest mount catches more of a horizontal perspect
