But you can get nearly just as good for a fraction of the price. I agree the Apple displays are fantastic, but I'll take 95% of the quality for about 1/2 the price. Any 5k 27" should look great. A 4k will also look very very nice. I have a Benq MA320u on my MacMini, it's a 32" 4k and it looks great.

What's the best 4K monitor as of 2026 that you'll recommend for Mac?
I got the BenQ MA320U 32” 4K, this was built for macs for color accuracy, this the one if you dont want to spend that much on a studio display.

How is 32" 4K on Mac?
I have the BenQ ma320u, which is 32" and 4k on my mac mini. I run 1440 scaled. It comes with display pilot 2 software which does same thing as better monitor. Im completely satisfied with this monitor.

Best 4k 32 inch monitor for mac mini
I bought a 32" benq ma320u 4k monitor. Its outstanding. You dont need more than 60hz if you aren't gaming. No advantage to using thunderbolt to mac mini or display port with 4k at 60hz. Use the hdmi port and save the thunderbolt ports on mac mini for external storage. As others have said, magic keyb

How do you deal with the 4K monitor's real estate scaling issue?
I've run a 27" 2560x1440 monitor on windows for many, many years. I bought a 32" 4K BenQ MA320U. Like you said, it wanted to put it at 1920x10180....for after using 1440 for at least a decade, this was was too big for me. I run that 4k scaled at 2560x1440. I couldn't get past that loss of real estat

Well, since the awaited new Studio Display still sucks and is expensive af, what alternatives do you recommend?
Im running the BenQ 32" ma320u which is 4k. It looks great with the hiDPI enabled in the display pilot 2 software that comes with it. Im running at 2560x1440. I was worried about the 138ppi, but have no regrets.

Choosing a monitor for my new Mac mini 4
I went with another 32" 4k BenQ ma320u. Love it. Looks great. Got it for $599 and run it scales at 2560x1440. They now have a glossy panel option, the model ends in the letter P.
