What's something you only realized was a 'poor person fear' after you watched a rich person have absolutely zero reaction to it?
I once wanted to buy some (for me) high end very expensive headphones. I had chosen them online, the Audeze LCD-X, and I checked for resellers local to me, only to find that there was one right by my employer in the centre of a very exclusive part of town. So I hit up their website and it was "book

What are the best earphones you recommend?
No budget: Audeze LCD-X - Amazing soundstage/high fidelity. They’re open-back, so the sound will spill outside the headphones. And you’d want a good headphone amp to drive them. Normal budget: FiiO FT-1 - I’m still kind of amazed how good these sound for the price point. They’re what I use for every

What is your favourite headphones to mix and master with?
Definitely Audeze LCDX best headphones i ever heard. They have newer models like MM-520, LCD-MX4, MM-100 (cheaper) which might be even better but I have never felt a need for new headphones ever since I got the LCD-X 10 years ago

What are the best earphones you recommend?
I've purged a disgusting amount of headphones recently, and kept only my winners. Keep in mind that sound preference is always subjective. Audeze LCD-X: Reference, accurate open back planar mags. Used for mastering and critical listening. Soundstage galore. As another user mentioned, you'd want a go

Genelec smallest monitor, low end enough?
I bought the 8010a. I start my mixes with them. Then I switch over to my audeze lcdx to assess sub and lows. They definitely dont show that range. Where they excel is low volumes in poorly treated rooms. 8030 with a poorly treated room is still going to need good headphones to double check.

I can finally decisively say I prefer headphones over speakers.
I agree with the fact that you aren’t an audiophile (yet) You can’t say that you don’t love sports cars when only you’ve only driven a 1997 Mazda Miata. I went deep down the rabbit hole of headphones (Audeze, ZMF, Beyerdynamic, etc.) to the point where I had an entire rack of components and let me t

Production Headphone advice
Best headphones are the ones with a flat response. A-lot of pros use Audeze lcdx( but those are 1200 bucks) You can buy “sound id” by sonarworks and select their m 50x headphones flat emulation and use those. Or buy the slate vsx platinum edition headset and use their studio emulations to get the be

Hifiman costuma puxar pros médio agudos e agudos.. E

Which listening environment is the ruler?
I recently got a pair of audeze lcd x’s - my god they’re good. Mixes are translating well for the most part! I prefer listening to speakers though - headphones always feel a bit claustrophobic. But with speakers you need a nice sounding room, and whilst I’ve done some treatment in my room, it’s stil
