LG 27GM950B review by Monitors Unboxed
Specs look close to the ASUS ROG Strix XG27JCG, but with stronger USB‑C power delivery and higher peak brightness (thanks to the mini-LED) edit: and a cooling fan. For me that doesn’t justify paying €1,199 compared to €549 for the ASUS.

Why so many monitors does not have Thunderbolt 4+ port?
The Thunderbolt issue is discussed here. You could however connect two monitors with one using USB-C and the other using DP to USB-C (see here). The 5K ASUS ProArt PA27JCV has a LuxPixel matte coating which looks very similar to Apple’s nano-texture. I felt the LuxPixel affected the whites too much

Actually loving the new standard Studio Display?
The glossy 5K looks so much better than any non Apple 5K matte monitor I'm using the Asus ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG but I'm thinking about getting the standard glossy ASD.

Best dual screen setup (besides MA270S) for MacBook Pro M5 Pro?

Still deciding if the LG 27GM950B-B is a keeper

Small update to the situation. It seems to be a monitor problem. Even with cables that support DP 2.1, DSC (Display Stream Compression) and the required bandwidth I couldn't get 5k to work. The support was very dedicated but couldn't solve my issue for now. I would guess the DSC support might be to

For everyone stumbling upon this later: the ASUS ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG has been a blessing so far, it works out of the box, no scaling or other issues at all. If you're fine with a slightly lower FPS in Dual Mode
