Linux > Windows even on new & powerful hardware (ThinkPad E14 Gen 6)!
Similar experience on Asus Vivobook S16 (AMD HX370) and CachyOS. Got even more fps in Steam games than had on Windows 11.

Is it worth it to buy a windows 11 PC and immediately switch it to Linux?
That's strange, probably the retailer's choice for some odd reason. I bought an ASUS Vivobook S16 without an OS cheaper than the same variant with Windows.

Pls avoid Mac at all cost You'll have Excel and PowerPoint problems. Avoid anything Dell and do not look below 16GB RAM or 512GB storage Asus Vivobook S16 as someone already said is your best choice. But make sure you buy the Intel Core 5 one and not the i5 variant

Is the laptop worth the price?

Are we wayland yet?
This is the reason why I left Mint for Tuxedo. I really like Mint, but intentionally be stuck so backwards in time is not good for me.
