Finally my dream setup ❤️

Ascaso Dream PID. I love the look of it but I’ve been looking at their Steel series dual thermoblock for me when I’m ready to upgrade from the Bambino Plus.

Ascaso Dream vs Sage Bambino [€200]

Ascaso Dream all the way IF it's working. Buying second hand is definitely the way to go with espresso machines!

Budget is not a problem, but I can’t find an option better than Bambino, why?

My ascaso dream pid does not have that heat up time. Thermocoil is definitely contentious but I'm definitely happy with the heat up time and the PID.

Buy an espresso machine that's 5K or save up for a better one in the future?

This is the one advice, OP, that you should take to heart. Start with a good grinder, grind your beans fresh. Tapos kahit entry level espresso machine, like say a Delonghi Dedica, Ascaso Dream, or a Bambino Plus, okay na yun. Makakapag produce na yun ng good enough espresso kung maganda na yung grin

Steel Duo owners - what machine did you use before Ascaso?

I don’t know how much the Breville will cost you, but I was able to get the Ascaso Dream PID for same price as the retail price of Barista Pro. So if anything, get a Dream PID, or go straight for Duo. Breville price isn’t great and you’re stuck with all that plastic parts in the machine.

Steam pressure not lasting as long & not getting milk as hot

You can also put a small pin or needle into the tip of the steam wand if it’s really blocked and then soak the whole part in soapy water. But if you are sure your steam wand isn’t blocked… I have an Ascaso Dream MF (non-PID), but I believe the steam valve assembly is almost identical to the PID mode

Finally my dream setup ❤️

To be honest I haven’t used it yet. But I used to have the old Ascaso Dream model without PID and a 57mm portafilter. It was awesome. If you don’t drink the espresso alone and mixed it with milk or water; then I think you get great results. In my opinion something more expensive than this is just fo

Wife and I are looking for a new espresso machine. She wants ease of use and I want best taste possible, what should we get? [$1000]

I've got an Ascaso Steel Duo PID and absolutely love it. Ascaso support based in WA has been absolutely a pleasure to work with also with the single event that I had. Maybe check out the Dream PID and a Niche Zero? https://ascaso.com/en/dream/

Constant Single/Double Shots Flashing [Bambino Plus]

For a thermoblock only machine the next step up outside of Breville is Ascaso Dream One but those are around 1.5k in the US

New machine [$1500]

Seems like reading is very hard. I wouldn't worry about the pressure. But if you want a heavier maschine take a look at the Ascaso Dream or Steel.
