Handheld recommendations?
Anbernic RG556. Works perfectly for streaming xbox game pass, using Better XCloud. Can also emulate retro games up to PS2 if thats of interest. It has an AMOLED screen, so nice and crisp.

Recommendations for a gift
PS2 basically requires that you either get an Android device, or something like the the Retroid Pocket 5 and install Rocknix for your bro. Killer Bean is a fun game but short.
Nice! That gives me a bit more confidence. I tried opening my Anbernic RG556 in a similar manner near the triggers, and the shell got kinda dinged up from prying with the guitar pick 😅. Functionally, it's no problem, but god damn it bothers my soul!

Console or game advice for a 30+ gamer
