HS3

I was in a Guitar Center recently and they hooked up some Behringer 3.5" monitors to test a keyboard that was coming in. I was amazed at how good they sounded. I doubt there is anything special about those particular monitors. I just think I learned that small monitors are much better than I imagine

I recommend that try to kick up about $230.00 and get a pair of the Yamaha HS3 of HS4 ($245.00). Guitar Center current have used for $165.). Don’t let these little speakers fool you. They can get pretty loud if needed. Loudness is not what you need to achieve a good mix especially if your room isn’t

Sound quality is excellent for a speaker of this size, on par with well regarded hi-fi desktop speakers like Yamaha HS3, and noticeably better than Logitech computer

Yes there are small monitors but you will want a subwoofer to go with them (you can put it under the desk). For example, a pair of Yamaha HS3 or HS4 with an HS8S subwoofer.

i think a lot of people are missing that you're using this system for playback, casual music listening. no it's not going to sound great or full range, but yeah i mean you can connect things up and it will all make sound personally tho since it's the holiday season i'd just look around for whatever

I think my main issue is my lack of a sub, I have Yamaha hs3 which are pretty decent for giving you raw audio but, kinda lack in bass department which makes me end up turning the bass up way to much in the mix, I don't currently have the best headphones for mixing but I was definitely able to touch
