Yeah its a shitshow now. Glad I grabbed these SSDs in July 2023. Its Canadian Dollar btw. Samsung 980 Pro 2TB for CAD 140 which was around Rs 8700 back then. XPG S70 Blade 2TB for CAD 120 which was around Rs 7500 back then.

Definitely not to the point of breaking a SSD within 1 year. My first TW SSD is the HP EX900 1TB (500 TB write cycle) that comes with my laptop and lasted me 4 years. Pretty standard lifetime. After it broke, I replaced it with an ADATA XPG S70 Blade 2TB, which broke in half a year despite supposedl

Buy the B650. Save the ₹3-4k. Get a good B650 (MSI B650 Gaming Plus, B650 Tomahawk, etc.) rather than a cheap B850. i) 9600X = best value ii) 9700X = not worth ₹7k more for mainly gaming. iii) 7800X3D = best CPU, but costs significantly more. (maybe future upgrade?) 3. Definitely get the 9070 XT wha

preface: a prebuilt is a good option. if you have access to a microcenter, the price can be lower, or better parts can be had, for a similar price. For the CPU, I picked the 9600X. It's a great all-around CPU. It stays cool with a 360mm RGB AIO cooler. The motherboard has wifi and extra M.2 & DIMM s

I'm planning to upgrade the storage on my MSI Thin A15 B7VF laptop, it's only have single slot NVME storage. The default SSD is a 512GB SAMSUNG MZVL8512HELU-00BTW, which feels too small for my needs. A few months ago, I bought an ADATA XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade 4TB Gen4 SSD, but I ran into issues after i

What matters the most are the TBW / MTBF. The ssd is the SN5100 QLC / TLC is a general recommendation, TLC usually lasts longer with a bigger SLC cache, hence why people recommends it. The choice of QLC here is key, cheaper with 50% more performances than any TLC you can find at this price. Even if
