What air purifier would you guys recommend for an apartment 767 square feet?
Winix 5510 is ok. U would probably need 4 winix purifiers to actually lower the dust in a shitty apartment tho... The filters are 70$ fucking $ tho. There is no better air purifier for amount of air filtered in the 200$ price range. U should get the iq air than 2 winix 5510 air purifiers imo.

WINIX 5510 Air Purifier (New Generation of 5500-2 with App Support)
It doesn't do that much for VOCs. You need pounds of activated carbon or other sorbent media for gases/vapors/odors/VOCs. Winix 5510 air purifier not responding to touch
Definitely return it under warranty. Whether or not you want another 5510 is a personal choice. I would tend to recommend the Winix C909 at Costco instead, assuming you're okay spending $199.99.

I just bought a Winix 5510 air purifier. A quick search shows it's the best one and beats models costing $1,000. I’m ordering it now, and Amazon can have it here between 7 AM and 11 AM. screw it and just brought two

Difference between WINIX 5510 Air Purifier and WINIX 5520 Air Purifier
I'm also purifier shopping... came across the 5500-2 that's well respected then the newer 5510/5520. I'm considering the 5520 for app support and ability to set schedules. And yes, the front grill does look better on the 5520. ;) I do wish Winix made these in white instead of black -- would blend in
