Get a fast and huge ssd as fast as you can, at least a 4TB. The samsung 990 pro is the fastest, and there are some who go straight away to the WD_BLACK SN850P 8TB. And marry her again ;)

Wd black Sn850p got it with no heatsink and bought my own to replace it. Works like a charm . Buy medium heatsink if you ever will pull a trigger on this one . I bought standard height and had to spend some time to fit it in but I don't feel any heat from the back of the device so that's a good sign

That is way too expensive. I'd recommend a 2tb for 300ish if you can stretch the dollar. Crucial p310, WD blue SN5100, WD black SN850P are all $300 at the moment. Looks like there may be a trend in decreasing prices so there is the risk of waiting a bit longer for cheaper prices as well.
