What on earth is this?
Viofo a329 is one of the best on the market and is the same price. Even the a129 or a229 at half the cost is better than the OEM one.

Why higher resolution doesn’t always mean better dashcam footage
Thats because resolution doesnt make up the whole picture. And marketing spouts "4K" as being the "4K" but its never an apples to apples comparison. Some manufacturers list 4k but the sensors are 2K.
