Passing on the right on SW Reservoir Ave? In this weather? It's (sadly) more likely than you think

For everyone asking about a link to the dashcam: here's the link to the 2 channel dashcam I have (Viofo A229 Pro) from the manufacturer's website (it's cheaper elsewhere, naturally): https://www.viofo.com/products/viofo-a229-pro-2ch-front-and-rear-4k-2k-hdr-dual-dash-cam-with-sony-starvis-2-sensors

Get a dash cam.

+1 for this. I got mine from him last year (A229 Pro 2ch) and the ASC delete harness. I paid someone to install it, because I do not get along with that supposed rear seat. The front camera and wiring is easy. The back camera requires you to be small or a lot of contortion.

We just got to Louisville and already experienced a hit and run

I installed Viofo A229 Pro 2ch dashcams in both my and my wife's vehicles. One of them paid for itself when we went on vacation last year and got into a collision.

Dash Camera Suggestions

I’d look at the Viofo A229 Pro (2CH if you want front + rear). It’s 4K up front, great night quality, solid parking mode, and generally one of the most recommended options for reliability and image clarity. Hardwire it for proper parking surveillance. fwiw my mate and i usually check Redditrecs befo

Dash Cam

I’m running the VIOFO A229 Pro (2CH) and would buy it again, great front/rear quality, reliable in heat, and a very clean install. I hardwired it to the fuse box and hid the cables in the trim, so it’s basically invisible and always recording when needed. fwiw my mate and i both use this after cheap

Does anyone have a dash cam that they recommend? Specifically one that does both front and rear.

I installed a Viofo A229 Pro 2CH in my Ioniq 5 following along with a YouTube video. I’d imagine the install for a 9 is similar. Surprisingly easy (about an hour for the whole thing). Very happy with the quality: easy to read license plates.

any dashcam recommendation that i can i fit into car and take out quickly for car sharing? thank you

for something you can take in and out of a car without hassle, the a229 pro 2ch is one of the easier ones to deal with. it is compact, the mount is simple, and you do not need a permanent install for it to work well. footage quality is solid enough that you will not feel like you are compromising ju
