Is there a monitor with high PPI?

You want a 32” (or smaller) 6K monitor, a 27” (or smaller) 5K monitor, or a 24” (or smaller) 4K monitor to get Retina-level PPI. I have the Dell 3224KB, the ViewSonic VP2788-5K, and the espresso 17. Having three Retina-level displays is fantastic.

Best dual screen setup (besides MA270S) for MacBook Pro M5 Pro?

If you want to game at 5K, You could try this ASUS, but it's an anti-glare screen and won't have the colour accuracy of the ProArt. If colour accuracy isn't a must have, this would be a strong contender.https://rog.asus.com/monitors/27-to-31-5-inches/rog-strix-5k-xg27jcg/ Any of the colour accurate

Apple Studio Display Successor Now Expected Early Next Year

It’s true! But there are some options and they’re all cheaper than Apple: ASUS 27” 5K HDR - $849 ViewSonic 27” 5K SDR - $949 Samsung 27” 5K SDR - $999 BenQ 27” 5K HDR - $1,399 —— Apple 27” 5K SDR - $1,599 Now I do think Apple still has the best option here out of all of these, but it is an SDR displ

macOS 27 requires Apple Silicon, as Apple draws down the Intel Mac era

Mine literally just died a few days ago after running well for 10 ½ years. Ran great up through Sequoia thanks to OCLP. Thankfully I snagged a refurb M4 Max Mac Studio a month ago, just in time. Wish I could still reuse the iMac’s display, but I got a pair of ViewSonic 5k monitors that are working w

Best productivity/coding monitor for Mac M2 Ultra

I’m a developer and was in the same situation as you. I bought two GM950s, but returned both of them because local dimming was unusable in SDR desktop apps like code editors. Also the internal fan was quite annoying, especially when you have multiple of these screens. I also had a refurbished ViewSo

Appple Studio Display owners, is it really worth that high price?

Not exactly a true statement. There’s BenQ, ASUS, and ViewSonic 5k monitors available. Do they have the same build quality as the ASD? No, not exactly. Are they cheaper? Absolutely, albeit the BenQ with its tariff increase approaches the price point of the base ASD. Do they offer the same 5k 218 PPI

Release date for the Asus Proart PA32QCV 6K display

Kinda in the same boat. Bought the ViewSonic VP2788-5k, and it has a flaw on the screen. I'm going to send it back, it's only 10 days old.
