Any configuration changes to equipment since ATT? (My ONT has been going down more than usual recently)

I had backup for a while too when I used to wfh but cut it off because service was pretty great in general. May have to do it again or consider swapping to Xfinity which now has no cap here. Asus and Ubiquiti routers have 2 wan ports (and no sub!) I know Eero is pretty solid though. I use a Unifi Dr

Did anyone else buy UniFi to “fix their WiFi”… and "accidentally" turn it into a hobby?

Unifi Dream Router was my gateway drug. I wanted my first big-boy router. Great router. It's now directing traffic at a family member's house. Then when I got fiber about a year later, naturally I had to upgrade to the UDR 7 so I could both use an SFP module to connect directly to ISP (8311-bypassin

Finally ready to upgrade from Apple Airport to Ubiquiti – looking for advice

Is the Dream Router a solid choice for this setup, or should I be looking at the Dream Machine instead? Can't really speak to this very well. The UDM SE seemed to better fit my needs at the time but if I was starting now, I'd probably consider one of the Cloud Gateways. You'll have a bit more flexib

Thoughts on Unifi Dream Router 7?

Just installed my UDR 7 this weekend. I went with ubiquiti because my Google mesh router couldn't keep up and signal strength wasn't the best. The signal strength for the UDR 7 is phenomenal at my house. When we finish building our next house, I will be doing a whole home network system with cat 8 c

UDR7 Dream Router keeps rebooting randomly

I purchased a UDR when it first released and was very excited as it was my first Ubiquiti product. I too had a similar situation where I was working from home and it would randomly reboot. After a week’s worth of WiFi dropping 5-6 times per day, I put in a ticket and RMA’d the UDR for a new one. I k

Amplifi Alien stopped broadcasting Wi-Fi signal

Unfortunately, the individual radios last a few years then just die out of nowhere. Since the reboot didn't fix the issue, you'll likely need a new router. eBay has a few new Amplifi Aliens. UniFi sells the Dream Router 5G Max which looks a lot like the Amplifi Alien, with newer technology, but wors

best mesh wifi system? tired of wifi dead zones already.

Ubiquiti used to be a bit more complicated and required some technical know-how to get up and running and keep it updated. That was back when they depended on the Cloud Key (1), Unifi Security Gateway (USG), and a switch. They've released more consumer friendly products now. I swapped the above setu

Is this a fake Dream router 7?

Ubiquiti's had three different devices following that basic chassis design: The original Dream Machine (UDM), the Dream Router (UDR) and the Dream Router 7 (UDR7). You've got a UDR. If whoever sold it to you said it was a UDR7, you got sold a lie.

Original Dream Router unstable on latest 5.1.12

Same here. I have a mix of one UDM, one UDR, and one UDM Pro. UDR and UDM Pro are running fine, can be accessed through the UI easily with no issue Access to UDM (regular) UI is spotty, sluggish. Sometimes it works, most of the time it does not. I understand that Ubiquiti is looking into it, did the
