I need help

Coffee grinders for espresso range from $100USD to $4000USD. Cheapest one's will be hand grinders and given your working on a De'Longhi Dedica EC685 -- You are in the budget range of espresso. Look into hand grinders, it'll take 30+ seconds & a bit of an arm workout but you'll get a good cup of espr

Best Manual Grinder for Travel?

Hi, I use the Timemore Chestnut C3 ESP Pro, (~£100). For my travels with an aeropress. I find a grind setting of 2.0.0 is a good starting point for any of the beans I would take with me. I generally have medium-light to medium roasts only.Hope this helps in your decision?

Coffee is really weak on my DeLonghi ECP 35.31

Hello fellow coffee enthusiast. Have that same machine and portafilter. Your problem is your grinder. I use a timemore C3 ESP Pro. Yes, it’s a hand grinder but it doesn’t take that much longer and I’ve been very happy with it for dark and medium roasts. They appear to be on sale, on Amazon for $80.

So I got my hands on a Pesado HD shower screen... Trigger warning.

Fully agree. The other day, I was showing my sister in law how to use her new machine, and we pulled a damn near perfect shot with an unmodified Bambino Plus and a Timemore C3 ESP. No WDT, no RDT, no dosing funnel, no puck screen, no distributor, no IMS basket. Stock tamp, single wall double shot ba

Pour over set up

Checking the total of the selected items amounts to way past ₱10k. Please reconsider your budget unless you are certain that you would enjoy this hobby. That being said, let's allocate the ₱10.5k. Grinder: ₱3.7k+ Timemore C3ESP Pro is a solid choice. Although if you're not planning to do espresso la

Advice on buying a Hand Grinder

Good brand, but if you do mainly pourovers, better go for 1zpresso/timemore (in my experience, better yet, commandante if you have the budget). They have variants that can produce espresso grinds (chestnut c3esp for timemore). But imo, maybe get a high quality/dedicated electric grinder for espresso

TIFU by no doing research on my grinder

I hope you are talking about the c3 esp pro. The c3s pro would still struggle to get the detailed grind size adjustment needed for espresso. https://eightouncecoffee.ca/blogs/news/a-guide-to-the-timemore-c3-hand-grinder-collection
