The Thinkware U1000 dash cams I installed in every one of our vehicles have been unbeatable in the five years we have had them. No issues roasting in the Houston heat either. Only one SD card failed in all this time.

i’d say one more benefit to having a quality front and rear dash cam setup that works in parking mode, and has a status LED on each. Big fan of the Thinkware brand, model U1000 and U3000. we install these at my work all the time, they seem to serve people well, and I like having them on my vehicles

I'm going to buy the 70mai vs. the viofo because it's $100 cheaper, I don't care much about super duper rear video, and apparently anything is going to die sooner or later.
