What app/device do you use to track yourself on a marathon/long race? Strava was not accurate on my last race.
Strava is an app, not a device. Your phone determines your gps accuracy to the largest extent. Some phones really suck. If you're going to run on the road, get a dedicated device like a garmin, suunto, polar or coros watch. Running in cities with gps sucks. Tall buildings = dodgy signal. Better off

Runners should already check Coros instead of Amazfit
The Coros Pace series build quality isn't great. They're all-plastic watches, normal glass screen. The base Pace 4 also has only a 1.2" screen (same as the Garmin 165, which is also a cheap plastic build). Anyone ditch Amazfit for Garmin, Coros, or Suunto regret it, and actually switch back?

Froze mid run

Other than being beautiful, what does Suunto do better than others?
Couldn’t have said it better myself. Been a Suunto fanboy since my Ambit 3 Sport many years ago. They are just streamlined, solid, reliable tanks. Have a Race 2 currently and am just blown away every day with its battery, build and overall performance!

Want to buy a Suunto, but a little nervous…
Coming from Garmin, using Race S for more than 6 months with no issue. It works fine for sleep tracking, wrist HR on aerobic exercise, maps are swift. If you search this sub, you will find that since it's last update, the App compute your TSS from pace rather than HR. You have to manually change it.
