Running a Sonos Arc Ultra with dual subs, era 300 surrounds and fives as fronts. TrueHD Atmos is much better via my ShieldTV, streaming Atmos sounds dull in comparison. If you have the speakers that can take advantage of TrueHD it is worth it.

We added two Sonos Fives (to our existing Arc and Sub) and boy are those things are worth every penny. Also added a Govee synchronized LED light kit. Great bang for your buck IMO.

In France, it’s 1300€ for 2 Sonos Fives. For this price I can buy a couple of focal chora 826 + Marantz NR1200 + cables. Much better in every way.

I think what you’re hearing makes sense.I used Era 100s as fronts myself for a while, and they were okay, but to me they were never the best front solution.
