If you are planning to buy Sennheiser headphones, reconsider.
Sennheiser is split into two separate companies under the same name, basically the Momentums are their "consumer" side, whereas HD 600, 650, 6XX etc. are their "audiophile/ professional" side. I regularly see terrible reviews for their consumer products, whereas their professional products are still

Are the hd600s worth it for primarily gaming and a little bit of music?
They are an excellent generalist with a clear and even timbre and an especially nice midrange presentation, that, while not speaker-like in soundstage, are good enough you can use them as monitors provided you understand their picture below 70hz isn't as accurate as the rest. Which Sennheiser tuning do you prefer?
My two favorite Sennheiser headphones are the HD 600 and the HDB 630. Soo, that probably makes me the Classical Neutral/Reference + Consistency and Convenience type of person :D I love a good balanced tuning with a great midrange and wonderful vocals particularly, though.

HD800S vs HDB630: Can wireless hang?
I have not heard the HDB 630, but I will say that price, or even the fact that it's wireless are not significant limitations. Why are the low frequencies on my bass barely audible through headphones?
No name specs can be whatever, there's no brand to tarnish. There have been some suggestions already, here are some more: Koss, AKG, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, Grado. I have good experiences with Grado SR80, Sennheiser HD 600, AKG K550.
