34" Curved Ultrawide Monitor Recommendations?
Ive got the Samsung Odyssey G8 34" UW. Love it. It isnt cheap but its gonna last me ages i hope.

Have you seen a Final Fantasy 7 on an OLED TV? here is a little sample
I have also an iPhone 12 (mini) and checked for myself by making a photo of Cloud in FF7 Rebirths in game menu. Monitor is a Samsung G8 OLED. While it isn't Remake and not the specific scene from OP, I can tell that the photo looks a bit over saturated at least. But not like OP is showing it here. S

New PC booting in 40 seconds. Is it normal?
My pc boots into windows faster than my fkin Samsung G8 OLED turns on. I'm always typing in my password while the screen is black.

Re-shuffled setup!
Samsung odyssey G8 34” OLED. Yeah man the depth is absolutely fine, there’s 0 issues whatsoever with it. Can always put it on a monitor arm which gives you a few more inches of push back. I disliked the arm, was causing me grief so opted to just stick it back on its original stand.

Getting headaches all the time
I use a Samsung G8 OLED monitor. It has a refresh rate of 176hz. It’s on the expensive side, and it is very bright (for gaming) I recommend any monitor that produces a 120hz+ image

Dell XPS 14 Panther Lake + Studio Display + Omarchy 3.6
Resolution is the same expected 5K resolution. Though still locked to the unfortunate 60hz with the Studio Display. Camera works, speakers, volume, etc. just not center stage or the MacOS specific features. I have a Samsung G8 OLED too but I just keep going back to the Studio Display.

OP, just keep in mind that Samsung doesn’t offer OLED Warranty on their models that were made before 2025, I have the G8 34” ultrawide, been using it for 2+ years and love it so far but even after being super careful it got burn ins at the bottom within the first year of use.
