Gue sempat impulsif beli 4TB ketika 5 juta (990 Evo Plus), looking back now it was a good impulsive buying lol.

4TB 990 EVO Plus on Amazon right now for £525, but that 2.5” 4TB 870 EVO is up for £839. That’s just wild, what the hell.

Luckily there are still a lot of options on the SSD market. I have found Samsung's products very unappealing in recent years. Even during the good days when prices were low, a 990 Pro was 15-25% more expensive than a WD Black SN850X and that tendency continued down the stack to the SN7100 vs 990 Evo

Posting again since battlestations are only allowed on weekends :)

This year has been crazy for me so it’s nice that I get to end it by building my dream pc. I’m definitely a nerd and over the moon about the results. RGB rainbow guts and all. It took me three days to build including troubleshooting

One of the fastest NVMEs available right now and has a large chunk of DRAM on top. This price is the same price as Gen 4 NVMEs that are half the speed and no DRAM, so seems like a good deal. Note this model seems to have issues with some motherboards, at least on release. It also gets extremely hot

Is this basically the cheapest way to get a 1TB M.2 SSD? The cheapest I could find on pcpartspicker is this one: https://www.newegg.ca/kingston-1tb-snv3s/p/N82E16820242902?item=N82E16820242902 which is $210. Basically that means $15 DDR4 ram if you buy the SSD + RAM combo.
