Frigate users chime in! Suggestions for a newbie planning Unraid

I'm using a similar setup (but with a Coral at the moment, might look to switch to iGPU after reading this thread!) - mine is 4TB but per camera at 2K resolution, 24/7 recordings + clips take 3.5GB/hr, this is with Reolink RLC-810A which I don't use their 4K mode at the moment because codec support

Need recommendations please!

Reolink is the go-to recommendation in this sub for a reason. Their E1 or RLC-810A are solid indoor options with much better video quality and no cloud subscription required for recording. The audio is clean too. Stay away from anything that requires a cloud subscription if you can, local storage is

Best home security system for Los Angeles?

I’ve got a Reolink RLC-810A (4K PoE) pointed at my driveway and it’s crystal clear day and night. Super easy to run an Ethernet cable and set up with their app or a PC via Blue Iris. No subscription fees either.

Suggestion on a single camera

A Reolink E1 Pro or RLC-810A works great for this, both can record directly to your PC via FTP or their app without needing a hub. Just point it at the yard and enable motion alerts. Solar powered ones are nice but battery can struggle in winter; I'd go PoE if you can run a cable.

How to decide between Optiplex Micro and Beeline EQ13

I’m using the coral mini pcie in an adapter. And when I say it’s acceptable I’m probably underselling it, its honestly not that bad. The only thing that really seems to suffer is playback of recordings, they take considerably longer to browse through/play than my (much more powerful) home server tha

Question for possible setup with Scrypted and HomeKit + Reolink

This should work. I have something similar with two PoE Reolink RLC-810A running for more than a year.- Cams connected to scrypted. For 24/7 recordings, I'm paying for the “premium” NVR feature for scrypted which records to my NAS. They also have an app which is nice, but for everyday use I still pr
