"normal aging" ...for who? Not me

Had this experience with both spine, p.t., and ra specialiss. Translation is "i dont have the skill to deal with you and/or your insurance pays shit". Regroup, go elsewhere. Its ok if you need a minute to regoup. Its a form of rejection. This is a marathon not a sprint. The one thing besides daily p

What’s your favorite massage gun?

I had the exact same experience. I started out thinking I was going to be super smart about it and compare all the specs, read all the reviews, and pick the perfect one. After a while it honestly just turned into a mess because every massage gun started sounding the same. Same claims, same promises,

Massage gun for a dad who never asks for anything? What would you suggest?

I got a Renpho extended-handle massage gun on Amazon, and it was an absolute lifesaver after being put out of work with piriformis syndrome (similar to sciatica, but extending down the leg) last year. For bonus points, get him a heating pad, too. The biggest one you can find.

New lifter here: are massage guns doing anything for soreness, or just making it feel better for a bit?

exactly. temporary relief from the renpho massage gun isn’t fake relief... if it gets you walking or stretching instead of staying stiff, that seems useful enough.

won this in a work giveaway last week and WOW

I have the RENPHO 2 and man, I love that thing SO much. Seriously saves my butt on migraine days. I do the same thing, medication and then lay down with my mask. I always fall asleep with it on and wake up going from a 8/10 migraine to a 2/10. Sadly I only get about 3-4 massages out of it before it

I am looking for advice for running gifts.

I've never tried recovery boots (maybe I should), but a massage gun has been my lifesaver for recovery. I bought a renpho one with a long/extendable handle from Amazon, my father and boyfriend both love it as they can get to hard-to-reach places. I literally just bought another one for my brother as

that’s basically how i use the renpho massage gun too... less “recovery tool,” more “okay, now i can move without feeling made of wood.”

that “made of wood” feeling is exactly it. the renpho massage gun doesn’t erase soreness, just makes those first few movements feel less ridiculous.

right, especially before the first warm-up set. if a renpho massage gun makes moving feel less awful, that’s useful even if the soreness is technically still there.

Here's a full updated list with better options. All I can say is Renpho does not last a long time. That's because I owned a couple of them before.
