As a casual user, I like polar. Software is simple in my eyes, hardware is good and has no monthly subscriptions, which is a big plus. Polar also replaced my ignite 3 after the battery failed under warranty without a fuss. European brand, Finnish to be exact. All in all I think Polar is doing good b

Loved the devices but software totally overlooked. Ditched my Ignite 3 though I loved the look of the device. But the Ignite 3 and Polar Flow didn’t do enough. Really a sad situation.

Polar Smart Gadgets | Finland Company
I've been using a polar watch for years, it's perfect. I currently have an ignite 3, it looks much better on a skinny woman's wrist than any garmin. I use the H10 HRM for training, it's flawless. It's European and much cheaper than the garmin.

Polar Flow app version 7.35.1 for Android
Polar should definitely consider whether their method of transferring data to Polar Flow should be completely changed. The problem occurs from time to time and it seems that only FlowSync can fix it, but Polar intends to discontinue FlowSync. What then? Every now and then I have to resort to FlowSyn

Polar Flow Major Overhaul
Pacer X or Vantage 4 is really the only thing making sense. Having the major overhaul coincide with their flagship watch would make the most sense. But then again, Polar doesn't go with the flow. We might as well just get an Ignite Pro X…

Need help for my first watch
Polar Ignite is still perfectly fine as a software machine, but there are 2 buts... 1) Buying such an old used device you risk battery life to be 1-2 days pretty soon and it's not replaceable; 2) If you're serious about tracking your fitness, some external device like a Verity Sense or H9, H10 chest

I am new to Polar, very disappointed. What am I missing?

Polar vantage v4 or new line?
Polar have some really outdated product lines. The fitness series of Unite and Ignite and the Pacer series are getting extremely long in their tooths.They might be cheap to produce but keeping multiple platforms of hardware and software is not efficient. Used a boatload of their watches and some cycling options (started with an M21, over FT80, RS800-something, RCS3X, Ignite, first Vantage V, … Used their desktop software, then moved to polar personal trainer (it also had a forum or community including some form of challenges) to finally land on Flow
