Seeing the gen 5 is actually what made me pull the trigger on swapping TO ringconn g3 from oura g4. Oura’s new ring only adds the slimmer size. I live and die by the Oura Ring. Just upgraded from the 4 to the 5. No regrets. I simply cannot wear a wrist band to sleep. No matter how comfy the strap is, I can't fall asleep with it.

Good call dodging the Kickstarter, those ring projects have a rough track record. Oura's main edge is polish and accuracy, but the sub adds up.. If you don't mind the subscription I'd say the Oura ring 5. I've tried Oura ring 4, fitbit air, Ringconn Gen 3. I loved my Oura 4 just wanted to try something with no subscription....
