If it’s an Osprey Atmos AG it’s a manufacturer defect covered under warranty. Mine has always squeaked and I thought it was the way I packed until I ran into a review from someone else with the same complaint. I just had my 5 year old Atmos replaced for free.

I have an Osprey Atmos 50 AG (Anti-gravity). I used it on Mt. Amuyao via Batad-Mayoyao for 2D1N and at KXC for 3D2N, and I can attest to its effectiveness. It's not just marketing hype because once you actually use it and it's suited to your body size, you'll feel like the backpack is hugging you ti

I sorted by bestselling on REI, then picked from the top 4, the things I see on trail most often... this would be representative of a beginner load out from REI, versus a beginner UL load out. I think this is a pretty fair comparison. Osprey Atmos ($340), Half Dome 2 ($299), REI Magma 15 ($429), Nem

I love my Osprey Aura AG (circa 2015, fits different than the current model). I can comfortably carry up to about 45lbs, more than the pack is supposed to carry and 1/3 of my body weight, ie a little more than I’m supposed to carry at all. (I don’t carry that much for my own trips — only when workin

i've been using osprey for like 3 years now and they're solid, don't let tiktok people get in your head lol. the AG LT series is actually pretty decent for what you're doing - bronze dofe isn't gonna push the pack too hard anyway the accessibility thing is real though, LT models definitely sacrifice

I can suggest the, Osprey Stratos 24 or 34 L, Deuter futura 25 or 32 L. I like the adjustability of the Osprey packs more then the non adjustable frames of the Deuter packs. But it makes them a bit more bulky. For backpacking I really love my Osprey atmos ag 65. While heavier then the exos models it

You could wear your pack a little higher if you have a waist. But if you're wearing it correctly now, it probably just doesn't fit you. Not everyone gets along with the Osprey AG frame.

So all my gear weighs about 16-18 lbs without water/food iirc. So it’s right in the edge of being too much for backpacking. I should add, I like to overpack just in case. I have ms my body does weird shit sometimes and I like to just have everything just in case. There were a couple ospreys that wer

With every trip I took, I'd buy a new piece of gear, trying to save weight. After a while, I was down to about 5.5 kg (12 lbs.) It seemed funny to put that little weight in a 2.5 to 3 kg pack, so I bought a ZPacks Arc Haul (575 grams). I only like the ZPacks and will be upgrading on my next trip/pur
