New pc, around $3000

A powerful build with 9850X3D and RTX5080. Purchase the bundle and GPU from Micro Center. Did i really get the bang for the buck with my rtx 4070 super?

i noticed the rx 7900 xt costs 750 € the performance almost the same as rtx 4080 it costs like 1100€ that's good price to performance for the AMD card. Also NVIDIA doesn't support Linux another downside i didn't know this. Sadly now the rx 7900 xt costs 800€ right now. If i were to get a rx 7900 xt

First high-end PC build – looking for feedback before buying (1440p gaming)

I am a little unclear whether your €2600 budget is supposed to include your monitor and other peripherals or not. The list below includes a very nice monitor, but does not include a keyboard and mouse. If you need those to be included as well, we can choose a less expensive monitor that will give yo

Returning to gaming after six years - Can I (re-)use anything of my old PC or do I have to restart completly?

Thank you for your reply. You didn’t say what country you were from, so I used the German PCPartpicker site. CPU: The 8c/16t Ryzen 7 7700X is a very good all around CPU for gaming and productivity. CPU COOLER: It turns out the Dark Rock 3 won’t work with AM5 CPUs. Since we have to replace it, I deci

Monitors turn off and fans go to full speed

This problem started this week, mostly while I'm not doing things that are resource intensive although it does seem to be slowly getting worse. I found a post that mentioned something similar where most of the comments mentioned that it was most likely a dying graphics card but the OP replied back 3

HELP! Advice on my PC build as a beginner

Before I start, let me just mention again that this is my first time building a pc. I've tried doing my research on parts and what is compatible with what, but there is still a lot that I don't know. The last time I looked into pc building was a couple of months ago, so some of the knowledge I gaine

2500$ double monitored gaming/art build

I used this bundle from Canada Computers for the CPU, mb, and memory. This saves you around $135, compared to buying the same parts online. CPU: The Ryzen 7 9700X is a powerful 8c/16t CPU. It will work well for both gaming and art/photo work. CPU COOLER: The ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE is a phenome

Ryzen 5700X3D with a 4070 Super? Any other tweaks to the build?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a few quick lookovers to see if there are any glaring issues with the build I've put together.

I've built a small handful of computers over the past decade or so and am planning to build a cube for my brother as a Christmas gift. He's mostly been a console gamer, but p
