UM773 Lite

I've already been running SteamOS (Valve's own image) on my Minisforum UM773 Lite. Works like a dream, even detected the 4TB SATA SSD and uses it for game storage without a single issue.

Light gaming? My mini (Minisforum UM773 Lite) can play the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth games without a hitch once I dialed my settings in. Though it does help that I upgraded it to 64GB of RAM which allows the BIOS to allocate 16GB to the graphics. All for under $800.

I've played Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on it without issue. At $330, https://www.amazon.com/MINI

I have Bazzite-deck running a Minisforum UM773 with that chip. It works perfectly. I can’t really comment on stability differences because I never tried to game on it in windows, but on Bazzite it’s very stable. I have it hooked up to the tv in my cigar room and it works well in game mode for light

In recent history, Minisforum has it been known for their their field quality or customer service, notably from Intel mPCs. The UM773 Lite hasn't even been available from their website for some time beyond "Minisforum Refurbished" = "PPOP: Purchasing Previous Owners Problems". IMHO, Beelink takes th

I've got a Minisforum UM773 Lite that I've had running 24/7 for over a year and it's still going strong.

So is an old Optiplex Micro with an i5-6500T that I used to use. The problem with the average mini PC from the

From diagnosing a few OG UM690 & UM773 Lite mPCs, Bluetooth issues + HDMI issues (among other symptoms) is a strong indicator of instability on the motherboards 5V rail. Meigao (Minisforum OEM) did a relatively poor job transitioning from the earlier DDR4 FP6 PCB to the DDR5 FP7r2 required to suppor

It’s a bit better. The 7430u is a recent release that uses older tech, so it has the Vega 7 GPU. The 5825u has the Vega 8. That’s still not great by today’s standards, but if the Vega 7 is almost good enough the 8 will be good enough. When you see people using more powerful chips with gpus like the

I personally like Minisforum's UM773 Lite. $423 for 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. I run SteamOS on mine with Retrodeck to manage the emulators. Works like an absolute champ.
