The color quality of the MacBook Air's screen is impressive; the monitor is a Dell UltraSharp IPS FHD.
My spouse has a QHD LG OLED gaming monitor that sits right next to my studio display and that one looks pretty good. It wasn't that expensive either, like $500. An older version of this model: https://www.lg.com/ca_en/monitors/gaming/27gx704a-b/

LG 27GX704A-B 27-inch Ultragear QHD (2650x1440) OLED Gaming Monitor 240Hz is just about 73 dollars more than this. You’re giving up 4k but honestly at that size you probably won’t notice a difference.
