$900-1000, it's got 32gb ram and 1tb ssd.. dont accept less than $900-1000, it's a great laptop. New AMD P14 Gen 6 start around $2k+ right now w/ 32gb ram and nothing's really changed model-wise tbh other than some minor refreshed CPUs: ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 (14 inch AMD) | Power-packed AI-Driven Mobi

Personally? no. I haven't noticed a difference between 32 and 64gb of ram. I DO notice a difference between 16 and 32. My usual workload sits around 24gb with teams, outlook, many large excel spreadsheets/word docs and about 3-4 dozen webapps open at any given time. However, especially where ram pri

I just got my P14s Gen 6 Intel last week. I was choosing between the AMD and Intel versions and I chose Intel. Here’s what I’ll say. The average efficiency of AMD is going to be better. Intel had to go up to 14 cores with the Ultra 5 225H (what I have) and the Ultra 7 255H (which might have 16 cores

Skip all the hype brands. Durable laptops with good Linux support are made by only 3 companies: Dell, Lenovo and HP. Discard all other options. Imo the absolute best laptop you can buy right now is the Dell Pro Max 16 Premium. See this video. Skip the GPU as always unless you really need it. Worthy

I had the same concerns before buying but surprisingly it does not get loud or very hot even under load. When I max out the cores at 100% it gets up to ~80 Celsius (keyboard/areas you touch stay cool) and unlike the intel model, which does have better cooling, the performance isn’t throttled on batt

It gave me enough time to go make coffee, drink it, and reconsider my life choices. 😅 Definitely not the 'optimized' experience I was hoping for. This is my spec. Pure trash! Nearly 3k for a base model that you could build yourself or have built if you shop around for less than 1600 bucks even with ram prices being what they are right now. Expect some used and or refurbished equipment to get that price point. The more modern ryzen 7 8845HS (2023) out perform

North America will not have X7 in hand until Q4 2026 at the earliest. Best value for your money (new) right now from Lenovo is the P14s Gen 6 SKU 21RV000NUS. $2279 right now through VIP Perks and comes with: AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX PRO 370 Processor (2.00 GHz up to 5.10 GHz) Windows 11 Pro 64 AMD Radeon™

I would get a P1, I have a gen 7, which would be out of your price range, but you can get a gen 4. I think it's the closest to a Macbook you could get. If you want new, A P14s Gen 6 AMD is at the top of your budget, but is a killer machine for sure.
