I've bought every iteration of the Win Max 2 line: 6800u, 7840u, 8840u and HX 370. That last one burned me. GPD abandoned BIOS development on the quiet. Before I spank out another 2500+ I want a firm promise to keep developing until the core issues are gone. Otherwise I'll wait 6 months.

I believe you. Don’t know why people are downvoting you so heavily just for disagreeing. I experienced a 10 degree drop when I changed the crap factory paste on my GPD Win Max2.

GPD Win Max 2, GPD/OneXPlayer tablet-like handhelds that convert to either handheld or tablet. I have the previous Win Max 2 - https://rkblog.dev/posts/pc-hardware/gpd-win-max2/ - and it's quite small and handy, but such size has it drawbacks - you can see on the palmrest location, keyboard, and the

Well, i dont know what the exact needs for IT work is, other than maybe needing to plug into a server and doing remote access. I think a Win4/5 is a no go for you, too gaming focused, not enough functionality on its own for actual work without having to dock it first, which may or may not work for y

You can watch videos of games running on any Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 handheld to get a good idea of how the Xbox Ally will perform. The AI Z2 Extreme is very similar to the AI 9 HX 370 in the sense that they both have the Radeon 890m graphics. The biggest difference is that the AI Z2 Extreme only has 8 co

Ive started with GPD, buying a win mini with 8840u, didn’t realize the hx 370 was out since I didn’t know about handhelds, so I was able to return it and switch luckily. During my time with the 8840u, my right trigger stopped working when I was on a trip so I was unable to use it. The magnet in the

GPD Win Max 2 (10,1"), GPD Pocket 4 (8"), OneXPlayer G1 (8,8") but the Ryzen HX 370 won't be cheap. On battery the refresh rate usually is lowered to preserve battery. IMHO I would look at 13,3-14" laptop that you can actually use. I have the GPD Win Max 2" and even though it's smaller and easier to
