Update: just got one from GoPro HERO13 Black Extended Power Bundle and it looked like the most reliable option for long motorcycle rides in heat and rough roads. The stabilization and battery setup seemed like a big upgrade over my current cam.

Exploring the creek
We use the GoPro Hero 13 Black with the wide angle attachment. It has amazing stability (see here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLr20sND8FXwcmqYxuCxBfCv0CvhzxkIn- ) Secured it to the mount (go pro dog harness mount) with some zip ties to a "ruffwear" harness

"GoPro Hero13 black for $320" Do not spend that much on a gopro.... There are 2x sellers on ebay (or their own site) selling open box/ refurb 13 blacks for about $225. The ones I got along with a 360 max were mint, and they come with extras.

Sure, GoPro Hero 13 Black with media mod, the mod can output HDMI for the capture card. And you don't need to put a battery inside, just use the USB-C to charge Hero 13.

Looking for an underwater camera for a whale shark trip - complete beginner.

EDIT: Just got one from GoPro HERO13 Black Extended Power Bundle and it already feels a lot simpler to use than I expected. The stabilization was the main reason I picked it and the footage looks much smoother during rides so far.
