In my trials and tribulations last year I found Beelink and GMKtec have the best owner reputations on this and other forums. After dozens of Chinese NUC inspections in that year I found they also need to have the better component selection and build quality when compared to the competition. This is

GMKtec is in the Top 3 Brands amongs Minisforum and Beelink. (Chinese Brand) GMKtec is on the rise and is a serious competitor to become in a very near future the Top Chinese Mini PC Brand, their ambition to become the major actor in the Mini PC market can be seen in their latest and upcoming models

This is why LLMs/AI hallucinate absolute trash for PC research as it scrapes the most worthless and outdated information. For example the Geekom IT14 and Beelink SEi12 are no longer on the official websites (and haven't been for some time) while failing to indicate which EQi12 configuration. It also

Check out the GMKtec EVO-T1, picked one up a few months back and have been really liking it, Intel 285H, 64Gb RAM, dual nics, 3 nvme drive bays, and no issue with the different cores playing funny. I’ve also got the Geekom A8 which has the 8945HS chip in which is 8c/16t but this is currently just be

With 30 layers you need a high end device, Intel chips will give you more performances for editing, the cheaper option would be the GMKtec K10 with the 13900HK or you could go for the Evo-T1 with the 285H if you have the budget for it and want top performances.

Strix Halo is just that, a halo product, it's built completely differently and it's designed to go after the Mac Studio type mini-PCs. Whereas an AMD Phoenix or Strix Point mini-PC would only take a crack at the base model Mac Mini. You shared a mini PC running on Krackan Point - it's in between Pho

You're still not smart enough to read after giving you the benefit of the doubt. You're still reading power consumption at the receptacle. The 131.6W for the 100W/80W 285H was a ROG Zephyrus G16 GU605CX with a RTX 5090. The 133.7W for the 80W/80W HX 370 was a ASUS ProArt P16 H7606WP with a RTX 5070.

Yeah I tried PTM 7950 on my GMKtec evo T1 and did not see any improvement. I then replaced it with Grizzly Kryonaut and things looked good after that.

When did you place the order? A few months ago I set up a CCC alert for the same model (96GB DDR5 and 2TB) in case the price went down again to last amazon prime day's price, well recently I noticed the very same listing was now for the 64GB and 1TB variant instead, not sure why amazon allows that.
