Garmin or Coros?
I got a used Garmin Enduro 2 on Ebay. Excellent condition for about 50% off retail. I couldn't stomach paying $1000. I ran my first 100 miler last year and my old watch was barely living through 50 miles. At the end of my 100, I still had 72% battery life. I recharged every 3 weeks, even at my peak

Watches for long Ultras
I recently borrowed m brother’s Garmin Enduro for a mountainous 100miler. After 38 hours with all GPS systems on, it still had over 60% of battery left. If I didn’t have a small wrist, I’d change my 7s for this in a heartbeat.

Switching from Apple Watch to Garmin — is it really worth it?
I've switched back and forth a few times, most recently from AW Ultra to Garmin Enduro. A few things that made me switch from Apple: Battery life just doesn't cut it, even with AW Ultra I cannot get through a long hike, bike or Iron Man. No maps in Europe. Thoughts on what watch to buy?
