My Pool Robot saga - a true story
Here's my robot story I bought the corded Dolphin Nautilus CC pro. It runs for 2 hours. Does a great job. Bought a solar powered skimmer. Does a great job too. The end.

Out with the "new" back with the trusted. WYBOT (C2) and pretty much all cordless pool robots are a scam
I have no issues with Dolphin Nautilus CC Pro. I love the basket. I have the fine filter for opening. Then switch to ultra fine for when it’s clean. I run it about daily. SWG and very easy.

Aiper was a bust, recommended me a vacuum robot
Wow, thanks for the info. I have a Dolphin Nautilus CC that I treat worse than a stepkid. It works great! I thought the cordless bots were awesome, but the more I hear about them, the more I want to just keep the dolphin running.

Corded ones are really good. Mine stopped working... I figured out it was the cord. Installed a new cord and it's back to business. Dolphin Nautilus CC

First time owning a home in Vegas w/ a pool
Get a solar cover ($150) immediately. They greatly reduce evaporation and can block sunlight, reducing both your water costs and your chemical costs. Having a reel ($150) makes it much easier to take on/off. Get a pole, leaf net, brush. Buy PoolRX every year and throw it in your pump filter basket

What's your biggest pool maintenance mistake that others should avoid?
Not really any mistakes. You learn by trying and figuring things out. The biggest disaster that comes to mind is running your pump dry or not enough water. Yes I have the dolphin nautilus. I absolutely love it. It runs on a schedule and cleans very well.

New pool owner, what is a normal pool cleaning routine?
Highly recommend a robot cleaner, definitely makes cleaning it easy. Throw it in, turn it on and let it clean while you do something else. Ive had a dolphin nautilus cc plus for about 9 yr and have been happy with it. Not sure if you have salt water or regular chlorine, I've had both and salt water
