I have used refurbished Dell Precision laptops since 2018. I often work in multiple places a day so I need the portability. My current one appeared to be new sitting on a shelf for a few years. It had no blemishes whatsoever. It has more than everything I need and a webcam too. I paid a bit over $60

Last year I got a well equipped Dell Precision 7750 workstation laptop. It was just over $600. As far as I could tell, it was new. I had a 7520 for several years. I mainly moved up to the 7750 to go up from a 15” screen to a 17” one. I’m 55 years old. Get off my lawn. They aren’t light. I changed fr

I did a bunch of research and settled on getting a used Dell precision 7760. I redeemed my points with fetch and Swagbucks etc for eBay credit but by the time that all went through, the prices went insane and so now I'm going to have to wait for prices to go back down to what they were selling for j

Klein sells a really cool 27 in one driver that has the bits needed. You can get them at Lowe’s or Home Depot or electrical supply stores that sell Klein. MacBooks last so long. It’s uncommon to need to replace something. If it happens, I just find parts on eBay or something. I have one from 2009 th

I would try to disconnect the bakup battery also, but that has a very small and fiddly connector.(It's a rechargeable coin cell with a cable. Bl**dy crap) Done that procedure on way too many DELLs. Also, as this is a Precision, I'd remove the heat sink and reapply the thermal paste. The 7550/7750 an

dell precision 7540 with quadro t2000. it should run most games and stuff like RDR2 at 1080 medium. You might be able to get something faster, but 350 is a tigh budget. gta5 will be 1080p high 85fps. it has a decent 6 core cpu.

I'd suggest looking for (certified) refurbished laptops on ebay or similar websites. You can get good value laptops there that will meet your requirements and won't end up filling the landfills instead. I got my Dell Precision 7540 on ebay for $400 give or take and it runs Solidworks way smoother th
