Is crucial P510 compatible with framework 13 pro

This will work fine. Just about every NVMe SSD will have a sticker like this. What Framework is referring to are the "performance" options that have a larger metal heatsink in place of the sticker. The Crucial P310 may be an example of this. The reason that heat sink won't work is because the chassi

[SSD] Crucial P510 2TB PCIe5.0 NVMe $136.14

No, not really. It basically keeps up with or exceeds the performance of a Samsung 990 pro while using similar amounts of power and it's $136. Pointless or at least a bad value at MSRP? Sure. At this price? Buy away.

First PC build with a friend

Your link directs to an empty cart - you need to use a provided permalink, not the URL listed at the top of your browser bar. Adding up the parts in the images, your list comes to ~$2300. You should have a better performing system than what is listed; many of the parts are questionnable or overprice

PC part picker advice

A few comments: Don't get 4 RAM sticks, get 2x16GB if you want 32GB in total, AM5 doesn't like having all 4 sticks, it will cause slowdowns (so the RAM will run at like 4800MHz instead of 6000MHz), instability or both Get a single 2TB NVMe instead of two 1TB ones, it will be cheaper and you can get

[SSD] Crucial P510 2TB PCIe5.0 NVMe $136.14

The latest batch of gen 4 DRAMless drives aren't so bad either. The 990 evo plus and wd sn7100 are both respectable drives. Its just that they currently only cost $10 less than an sn850x.

Cant decide on storage. 2nd time PC, 1st builder.

Basically, very basically, there are 3 types of technologies for ssd: QLC, TLC, TLC with dram. QLC is the lowest quality and is usually to be avoided. TLC is high quality already, the dramless variants are even better and should be used for important stuff. Pcie3.0 is kinda old (but still ok if you

A little help

Not sure how you think there would be "bad effects" or "risk". It will just be a slow system, incapable of playing most games or doing professional work that relies on GPU acceleration. The 9700X seems like a poor CPU choice. An Intel 250K is cheaper, has similar performance in gaming, and much bett

Sense Check on a 4K Gaming Setup

Suggestions to upgrade the CPU to a 9800X3D and get better cooling for less cost. CPU: Upgraded to a 9800X3D. While 4K gaming is typically limited by the GPU, some games are still reliant on the CPU and can help with some stutters. This also is true for VR where the the large cache helps make gamepl

Kannst also ruhig 6000-CL30 oder 32 nehmen. Und die Crucial P510 ist eher so lala. Würde d
