Personally, I would set the purifier to the highest airflow speed whose noise levels you can tolerate. I just got a blueair signature used from Amazon. It was marked mint in box but it seems loud at the lowest fan speed. I measured it at 32db at fan speed 1. I bought the Blueair Signature. Seems to be a nice machine. But Blueair customer service / Blueair support ist non-responsive. And filters are not available in the EU. (original Blueair filters).

Trouble buying Blueair Signature prefilter and France store access issue

Tips for Levoit Vital-200s

True… The small purifiers pull barely any air. I have the Levoit EverestAir and the Levoit Vital 200S. Both pull enough air to make it worth my while. The BlueAir Signature also pulls a lot of air but they take up space.
