The dual color/material is just one configuration of the printer. You can also use it with 1 large vat and 1 large build plate. Then it makes a lot more sense. I've recently bought an Anycubic P1 and it has a temp controlled resin vat. Night and day difference with prints! So yes, temperature consistency is super important.
