Sanding my build plate was the right way to go!

the plate was faulty from the factory and what research i did, and i did a lot (sanding was not my first choice) i was trying to find any other solution (exposure times, bottom layers, lift height & speed, diffrent resin & temps) all the options. even look into contacting anycubic but found several

Best Large Format Resin Printer?

None of them. The GK3 Ultra is a dumpster fire where they replaced the dual linear rails for a single machined aluminum rail and there's Z axis flex (see J3DTech's video on it). The Mega is an antique still using a matrix LED UV light source, although it's the largest currently. The Jupiter 2 hasn't

Sanding my build plate was the right way to go!

Which is why I returned my M7 Max after three weeks of frustration. From what I could gather, apparently it's a combination of the screen being seated ever so slightly too low, and the build plates not being perfectly flat out of box. As if that weren't annoying enough, you can't set a z-offset on t

Is it just me...

Anycubic has solved this, unfortunately, they don't have a big influence in the market. When you send something to your printer, it search for it on the local network and if it detects that it is on the same network, it does everything on lan mode, but if it doesn't find the device on lan, then it s

Second Printer Recommendations

Could get another Ultra 16K If you want bigger build volume, could get an Anycubic M7 Max. Finish your colosseum faster and, at least for me, plugged it in, let it do its self check and started playing immediately. Only have had 1 model fail (user error) but it was one model of 9 on the same print.

Elegoo Jupiter 2

Well, it’s pretty good, but there are quite a few questionable design choices. The power button is at the back, and even the resin refill is placed there, which makes it inconvenient especially for continuous work. It could have been great, but I still think the Anycubic M7 Max is better in terms of

Looking for a recommendation for a printer with a large build plate.

I have the Anycubic Mono M7 Max and other than the cos and sometimes hard to find ACF replacement film, I love it.

Anycubic Photon P1, What am I missing?

I was totally confused with the marketing so I asked Anycubic. The reply I received today was that the P1 by default comes with the single large vat and build plate. If you want to use the dual vat/build plate for some weird reason (I say weird as I can't think of a personal need for that), then you

Switching to ABS like resin

I can only speak from my own experience, and I still consider myself a noob when it comes to printing, so it may not be worth much. I used standard resin for almost a year, but with plans to potentially sell model kits, I decided to switch over to ABS-like so that parts would survive potential shipp

Help me to decide which resin printer should I buy!!!

Anycubic has some of the worst customer service and quality control. Very few parts available for their previous printers. M7 had like one firmware update and then they dropped it and focused on the P1. Still no remote print options or telemetry, still no heating throughout the print job like the m7
