It's just not the same kind of watch at all. It's a smaller max with more buttons and at the same price. I'm confused about what amazfit was thinking here. And launching it so close to the T-rex ultra 2?

Probably the most unneccesary release I've seen from Amazfit, alognside the T-Rex Ultra 2. They haven't been able to keep up with the Helio Strap demand, still unable to sell a single replacement band for the Helio Strap, the calories algorithm is still super high, sports like swimming are still lac

I had the same thought but someone on this sub helped change my mind. Amazfit is still the value leader in fitness-focused watches, they've just begun offering models that compete with the more premium Garmin models (e.g Fenix 8). If you're in the market for a Fenix 8, the T-Rex Ultra 2 is less than

Don't worry. Just give me the T-Rex Ultra 2 and you won't have any more multi-sync problems. 😋 P.S. Wait for firmware updates... Zepp OS 6 https://us.amazfit.com/pages/software-updates

The existence of the Ultra line doesn’t make sense to me. Amazfit watches are good because of their strong price-to-features ratio, you can overlook the drawbacks since they are cheaper than competitors. But "premium" models with the current level of software and especially the length of support are

Obligatory mention that I do not work for the company, however this is what I know from them. When the T-Rex 3 Pro was released, software updates for the T-Rex 3 non-Pro were stopped. No they haven't. An update was released worldwide March 10 and several others between the release of the T-Rex 3 Pro

Personally, as much of a great feature it is, I am not sure it is a good idea. Because then, Amazfit will be the only one that hides a feature like this under a paywall when its competitors offer it for free for all their premium tier watches... Huawei, and I think that also includes Garmin (I shoul

This is very good information. I.E: I didn't know about both new CPUs and this is important to note. The T-Rex 3 Pro and the T-Rex Ultra 2 seem to have an older one. Just one note. The Cheetah 2 Ultra does not seem certified for very cold/hot temperatures (see notes) while specific trail running wat

Honestly, the Garmin 965 is better than the T-Rex Ultra 2. Amazfit still has some work to do if it wants to compete with Garmin’s high-end watches. I get that the subscription is expensive, but if you buy an Amazfit watch, you have to accept that it’s different…

If you watch the TQS review of the Fenix 8, you will see similar problems to the ones that the T-Rex Ultra 2 shows. Heavier watches simply have more misses than lighter ones. You can observe that behaviour by comparing Forerunner 970 and Fenix 8 (again, watch the TQS reviews of those devices) or els
